Sweet Amery Mary-Lou Mangum graced the world on November 8th. She was just short of 2 weeks old when these pictures were taken - it doesn’t get much sweeter
Little miss Addison is actually 10 months old now, but we were celebrating 9 months
I can’t BELIEVE how much she changes with every single shoot! When we were taking these pictures I told Carrie {Addi’s mom} that her eye color has changed so much since our last shoot. It’s amazing! I loveee this little girl and her sweet/fun personality!
Can you believe this little precious is already 6 months old?! You’ve only seen her on my blog 3 times in her 6 months of life
At first we started out in some pretty harsh light, and I was just not digging them at all..
So we moved to a shadier spot, and bam! Her eyes made magic.
We had a little 4th of July themed shoot, seriously presh. Carrie said “I feel like such a bad mom for putting her in a bikini.” Oh, no Carrie you aren’t; whats the difference in this and naked baby pictures? I LOVE the little bikini
We laid her down in the grass, but apparently she didn’t think it was too cool. So this is what she did:
So what do I do? Take advantage of the rolls
EEEK, look at that belly! So adorable
Okay, get ready for a super long post.. but truth is I could NOT get enough of this little face. He is seriously so adorable. And as a disclaimer up front: no, I did not touch the coloring of his eyes - they are really that blue. Presh
And just to throw this out there – Jaxon’s mom’s name is Lilani – yep, coolest names ever. Just sayin’.
they found a little flower
and Jaxon thought it may taste delish
but the flower wasn’t all too great tasting…
but i’m SURE the stick tasted better…
ahh… shutttt your mouth – so precious!
this hot mama is a marine, ohhh yes, a marine
We went to cross over a ditch filled with rocks, and Lilani was carrying Jaxon, so instead of her risking her life walking over the rocks, I pointed out a less risky route, but when I turned around she had already across - really. I told a marine to take a easier route, ha! I’m lame.

Congratulations Ashlyn & Jason, he is so precious
I can’t wait to hold that little sugar again!

Ahh, this little chuckster made my day! I couldn’t get over how happy he was, I kept asking his parents is he always this happy?! They’re answer: yep. So! adorable! Seriously, cutest thing ever.
We went with a little firefighter theme for some of his shoot. Brayden’s grandpa passed away a couple of years ago after a fight with brain cancer. He had been a long time firefighter, and was very well known in our community. The weekend after our shoot would have been Mike’s birthday, and we didn’t think there was a better way to honor him than have his first grandson in pictures with his old fire suit. I know he would have been so proud.
One of Brayden’s older sisters couldnt resist jumping in for a picture
cutest little legs I’ve ever seen

Jason & Ashlyn are expecting little Gage to enter the world any day now. He was due on Saturday. Ahhh I can’t wait!
Ashlyn, you look gorgeous. No, seriously..
Oh how I love this sunny haze
I was sitting on the ground waiting for Jason to come back to resume their pose, and this is how I caught her looking at him, love!

This little princess is growing like a weed. She’s grown so much since the last time I saw her – here.
We did this shoot in my new makeshift “studio”
I think it worked out perfectly.
Apparently, she wasn’t such a fan of the naked baby pictures:
Guess what? Starting in March, I’ll be offering indoor infant shoots {newborn-1 year(ish)}
In the month of February I’ll be starting project clean-up, and project prop-finds; so by March we’ll be ready to rock. I’ve been having a hard time lately with trying to figure out what to do with newborn sessions especially, because it’s just too cold for them to be outside, but we don’t really have the room or layout at our house for indoor shoots. So I had a lightbulb moment
and called my grandparents {yep, the greatest ones in the world in case you are wondering} and asked if I could use the building out behind their house. The more I thought about it, the more I loved the idea. It’s somewhere I wouldn’t be in the way all the time, it’s heated in the winter, cool in the summer; and it’s pretty convienent right here in Unionville. It’s a big white room with windows that provide perfect lighting, which it turn makes it golden
SO, if you want to book your baby’s shoot in the near future, let me know!
& since I don’t like to blog without adding a picture or two, I’ll go ahead and blog miss Addison {& now would be the perfect time since she was the first to book for the new little studio
}, we took these pictures when she was 6 weeks old, and can I just say she is the CUTEST little thing ever? She’ll be 3 months in February so we are doing another shoot then, you’ll be seeing a lot of this precious.
Ok. I think I’ve talked enough now.
see this next one? yep, she thinks she’s a year old already.
she is already so strong! and just look at those little rolls — LOVE.
I asked her if she loved me; and she said..
Oh well, I still love her
The wash bowl in the next picture, is the same one Addi’s mom had her baby pictures made in. Sweet huh?
I LOVE this two pictures of Carrie with Addi..
Carrie: Your the best, I can’t wait for round 2 next month!
